Ceilyn Boyd, owner of Studio Jyoti, Stained Glass With Soul, is a software engineer turned glass artist and has spent 9 years working with stained glass and fused glass. Her philosophy - that creating glass art entails experimentation, exuberance, and fearlessness - encourages students to set aside their self-critical "shoulds" and to joyfully embrace glass as an artist's medium. Her own original glass art, which often draws upon holistic and world heritage themes, is deigned to infuse physical spaces and our inner emotional space with Jyoti - the light of spirit.
