David Weintraub

David Weintraub is a professional flameworker with over 10 years of teaching experience. He is currently pursuing a BFA in glass at Mass Art. David's background in both glassblowing and flameworking drives his teaching style and ability to teach students with different interests and ability levels. His extensive teaching experience in and passion for glass make his classes lively and interesting. "Glass shows me where I want to go, it brings out the best of my creativity. As a teacher I get to be a part of that process in helping glass bring out that creativity in others".

Ceilyn Boyd

Ceilyn Boyd, owner of Studio Jyoti, Stained Glass With Soul is a software engineer turned glass artist and has spent 9 years working with stained glass and fused glass. Her philosophy - that creating glass art entails experimentation, exuberance, and fearlessness - encourages students to set aside their self-critical 'should's' and to joyfully embrace glass as an artist's medium. Her own original glass art, which often draws upon holistic and world heritage themes, is deigned to infuse physical spaces and our inner emotional space with Jyoti - the light of spirit.

Emily Lombardo

Emily Lombardo takes fused glass in a totally new direction. Her strong background in printmaking adds a fresh edge to this medium. Armed with her degree in sculptural glass from the Massachusetts College of Art, she has perfected the art of silkscreen enameling. She leads her class down a more sculptural and painterly approach to glass working by encouraging students to experiment with text, photography and painting with light. She gets her class to think outside the mold to create a truly unique piece of glass.

Deenie Pacik

Deenie Pacik, a Boston artist, has spent nearly a decade working with fused glass and stained glass She studied at Pilchuck Glass School and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. At the Museum School, she received the MFA Enterprise Design award, as well as an Institutional Grant and the Katherine Lane Weems Endowed Grant. Deenie uses glass as a canvas for her paintings, and continually incorporates improvisation and experimentation into her work. She encourages her students to explore their different interests, take chances and follow their own voice.
