Glassblowing 2: Color and Size

This continuing class introduces you to the wonderful world of colorful vases. First, you will refresh your skills learned in Blowing 1. Then you will learn to implement Swedish glass blowing techniques to create larger pieces with a variety of color applications. You will learn how to control a larger amount of glass by using a series of blocking methods, which will allow you to create interesting organic forms. Color techniques such as color mixing, body wraps and raking will be covered. With this knowledge of form and color, you will understand the steps necessary to achieve your designs.

Prerequisite: Glassblowing 1 or Glassblowing 101
