One day Course

No glassblowing experience necessary

Glass ornaments are a great introduction to blowing glass and Diablo’s hot glass studio. In these fun, seasonal classes, students learn the basic skills of gathering glass from the furnace, applying color and introducing air into the piece to create a hollow bubble. Our skilled instructors will help you create colorful ornaments with glass hooks that can be displayed during the holidays and year round. This is a great class to bring a friend so you can work together to create more ornaments throughout the holiday season. Learning to blow a bubble will inform a wide range of future work in the hot glass studio.
