  • The above video begins with a demonstration of flameworking with David Weintraub
  • Next it shows Chris Watts taking glass out of the furnaceand working on it, he is then able to place it in the glory hole to soften the glass and shape it as desired.
  • We then see Jesse Katz with a group of people teaching a glass blowing class.
  • Next is a technique called slumping and fusing, where pieces of colored glass are aranged to make a pattern and then heated to permanently fuse together, they can then be placed in molds and slumped to form bowls.
  • The last step of the video takes place in the stained glass shop, where the students are cutting and grinding the glass, then using the American Tiffany Foil technique, the final step is to solder together the pieces to make sun catchers
